This luxury accommodation is set on 566 hectares of parkland in the beautiful Usk Valley, a world-class destination and venue for the 2010 Ryder Cup. Each room is beautifully appointed and decorated, with distinctive design and traditional luxury creating a calm and relaxing environment. All rooms offer a spacious marble en suite bathroom with bath, separate shower, luxury toiletries and a hairdryer. Facilities include a satellite TV with in-house movies, minibar (fees apply), trouser press, ironing set, in-room safe, complimentary tea/coffee tray, alarm clock, complimentary telephone calls to national landlines and complimentary high-speed Internet access. Each also comes with individually regulated air conditioning and heating.
Sport activities description
There are a host of facilities to help guests relax and unwind, including two health clubs and two luxurious spas, and three championship golf courses, including The Twenty Ten, with two superb clubhouses and a golf academy (fees apply). Guests can also take a dip in the indoor swimming pool with children's swimming area. Sun loungers are also laid out on the sun terrace. Aqua fit, aerobics, a gym and a hot tub are also available. The hotel is located just off the M4 motorway (J24), close to inter city rail services at Newport, with direct trains to Cardiff, London Paddington and Birmingham. There are numerous restaurants, clubs and shopping opportunities in Newport, which is about 3 km away. It is 5 minutes from the Severn Bridge, whilst Caerleon Old Roman Town is about 3 km away. The hotel is only 90 minutes from London Heathrow, and 45 minutes from Bristol and Cardiff-Wales International Airport.
