Room description

All rooms and suites in the resort have an en suite bathroom and sizeable bedrooms. All rooms are also fully equipped with everything a hotel room needs. Individually adjustable air conditioning, a hairdryer, a satellite TV, a ceiling fan, a minibar, coffee and tea making facilities, a direct dial telephone with international calling and a room safe also come as standard. The rooms and suites also offer guests a splendid view of the beautiful natural surroundings.

Sport activities description

The hotel has its own wonderfully designed outdoor pool with children's paddling section, which is to be found on a terrace overlooking the beach. The spa area of the hotel is spread over 3 villas. Both 2-storey rainforest villas have a view over the Andaman Sea and each has 2 massage benches on each floor, a large bathtub, a shower and a terrace for relaxation. The extremely private Sari Villa offers a large Jacuzzi, a garden shower and a terrace for relaxation. The traditional Thai massage begins with a relaxing aromatherapy treatment for feet, continues with a herbal steam bath and massage and ends with a herbal wrap, effective against complaints of all kinds. There is also a sauna in the hotel. For guests who enjoy sporting activities there are a number of options: the hotel also has its own gym and guests can take advantage of the facilities for tennis, volleyball, golf and billiards, or take a cycle tour of the local area. There is a programme of entertainment provided for guests of all ages.

Meal service description

The main restaurant has a view of the swimming pool and offers a varied mixture of Asian and continental dishes. Meals can be taken either inside the hotel or al fresco. The menu includes an extensive selection of wines from the resort hotel's air-conditioned cellar. In addition to this, the hotel has a humidor with the finest cigars from Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Honduras and Jamaica. The Japanese restaurant serves Japanese cuisine with a modern touch. The Japanese chef Toshiya Honda and his team offer original Japanese cuisine including the classics of sushi, sashimi and tempura. An extensive à la carte menu is also available. The award-winning Gulai House, somewhat removed from the resort's main building, in the middle of the rainforest, offers guests traditional Malaysian curry dishes and Indian specialities served in the open air. From the poolside bar guests have a view of the hotel's private beach. It is more of an informal option and guests here can enjoy delicious pizza from a wood-fired oven, sandwiches, salads and homemade desserts and cocktails. The beach bar, with a sea view, offers guests just the right setting for cocktails and light snacks. The barbecue terrace has a charcoal grill, which is the pride of this fine poolside restaurant. The lobby lounge with a view of the sea and swimming pool is set in a pretty spot in the open air and offers cocktails, mocktails, wines, cigars and an ample snack menu.
