The concept of the resort is based on the first original Thai house on Lamai Beach. The accommodations are designed in traditional Thai style with modern amenities. The resort, which was renovated in 2008, offers Thai hospitality and comfort in its 60 rooms. The property is framed by coconut trees and beautiful gardens facing the panorama view of the stunning Lamai Beach. Guests are welcomed in the lobby, which offers 24-hour reception and check-out service and a hotel safe. The bar and restaurant provide dining and drinks. Internet access is available, and room and laundry services are offered for an additional fee. There is a car park for the use of guests who arrive by car.

Day activities feature several specialities of Koh Samui. Staff will help all guests experience Thai culture with daily activities such as creating handmade souvenirs from plants, fun games for families, Thai and local cooking classes, fruit and vegetable carving, Thai boxing classes, learning basic Thai language, buffalo's skin shadow play and massage programme. The resort also offers an outdoor swimming pool with children's swimming area, a sun terrace, massage treatments, beach volleyball and jet skiing (extra charge applies). The nearest golf course is around 40 km away.

The resort is located on Lamai Beach on the beautiful island of Koh Samui. It is only 35 km away from the mainland. The town centre of Nathon is around 45 minutes away, while shopping facilities and the tourist centre of Chaweng are roughly 20 minutes' drive away. Attractions in the area include Hin Ta Hin Yai, a lookout point, Chaweng Lake, Namuang Waterfall, the Big Buddha and a traditional fisherman's village, which are 10-30 minutes' drive from the property. The hotel is easily accessible from all major airports in Thailand. A bus ride from Bangkok to Samui will take 12 hours. The daily ferry service, which runs from 8 am to 6 pm, takes one and a half hours each way. Transfer time from Koh Samui Airport is approximately 30 minutes.
