Room was spacious with good storage space. Front reception is pleasant. Breakfast provisions were fine, a standard continental spread. Close to metro station and other transport links. Close to popular attraction "TV tower".
The hotel rooms look NOTHING like the pictures displayed on the hotel website. And this hotel is most certainly not of 4 star standard as is advertised. Walls are paper thin, so all conversations and bathroom visits from neighbouring rooms can be clearly heard. Doors to room are old and all hallway traffic can be heard in the room. On the first night of my stay I was unable to sleep at all due to a high level of people having loud conversations in the hallway on the to the elevator at all times of the night and early morning. Requested a change of room and was told that the room I was in had never received any complaints in the past and that moving to another room would make no difference. Room was fairly clean, however the "mini-bar" contained bottles of water which had already been opened and partially consumed, and there was also what appeared to be pubic hairs on the bedside table. Tea making facilities were provided in the room, however, on arrival the kettle already contained water which smelled questionable which would suggest it had been sitting for quite some time. In addition, the tea making facilities were situated on a table in the room but had no power sockets close to it and so the kettle would have to be placed on the floor at another point in the room in order to be boiled. The room did not have air conditioning and the windows did not close properly. The room I stayed in was situated at the back of the hotel so had the car park directly behind us, due to the windows not closing properly we were bothered by cars taking 20-30 minutes to manoeuvre out of the car park at all times of the day and night. Overall, I was disappointed by the hotel. Although it was not expensive, it cost more than a 3 star hotel which I also stayed in during my visit to Prague which is in the same area and offered a better service and higher standard of rooms.
