Hotel description Talay Karon Beach Resort (Formaly Ramada Karon)
The design of the building is inspired by the Mexican hacienda. Built in 2006, this air-conditioned club resort comprises a total of 121 guest rooms. Facilities on offer include an entrance hall with 24-hour reception desk, as well as a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility, a pub, a games room, a TV room, a restaurant, conference facilities and Internet access. The hotel offers room and laundry services and a kids' club and children's playground are available to keep younger guests entertained. Bicycles can be hired on site and parking is provided for those arriving by car.
Room description
Rooms all feature a bold colour scheme, warm lighting and comfortable, functional design. An en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, a satellite/cable TV, a minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, a king-size bed and a safe also come as standard. There is a balcony or terrace provided and the air conditioning is individually adjustable. There are 14 ""Kids' Adventure"" rooms with 3 different themes, named Outer Space, Underwater and The Castle Room. All theme rooms are interconnected to an adult room with a king-size bed.
Sport activities description
The hotel has 2 outdoor swimming pools, with a separate children's paddling section and a Jacuzzi (charges may apply). Guests can enjoy a game of ping pong or work up a sweat in the hotel gym (charges apply). A varied programme of entertainment is organised for guests of all ages.
