The bar was a beautiful place to unwind and relax - large, spacious and sociable. Bar was stocked with good and inexpensive drinks. Cleanliness, energy-saving efforts much appreciated. We did not regret our choice. Great place on the whole!
Food quality could be improved. Breakfast seemed a bit overprices, while the 6-item restriction was a bit complicated at first go. It also started late on some days. Free (or less expensive) wifi in rooms will be appreciated - or atleast have wifi use on a by hour basis rather than a flat rate for a single day.

I was so impressed with the cleanliness and size of the rooms. Bedding was super-clean, not a spec of dirt in site. I've never stayed in a hostel before and was a bit aprehensive, but i thought it was great. Brilliant location, decent size rooms, great price. All in all a great experience.

Edinburgh castle is really close, near to Waverley station, close to shops and bars/clubs.

private twin rooms all have en suite and are comparable to a basic hotel room, much cleaner as well, good for couples
Very clean, warm, friendly, good value for money, great location in city centre, has more of a hotel feel than a hostel, comfy beds
Basic breakfast for price, cold plates so food only lukewarm, because it's so new it feels a bit 'IKEA-ish' -not much atmosphere like other hostels I've stayed in
don't understand this question in german!

Good location
Noisy with thin walls between rooms. The rooms are small.
