Built by the legendary brothers Mr. Guo Le and Mr. Guo Quan, who also established the top shopping centre in old Shanghai, Yong'an Department Store, this 59-room city hotel has enjoyed a celebrated history since 1985. When it was opened, the hotel justifiably earned a reputation as the highest building (19 floors), the most luxurious entertainment venue and the first ballroom in Shanghai. Renovated in 2010, this air-conditioned establishment welcomes guests in a lobby area with 24-hour reception and check-out services. Further facilities include a hotel safe, currency exchange desk, cloakroom, lift access and a café, as well as a supermarket, hairdressing salon, disco, restaurant and conference facilities.
