Good Value for money, very clean and renovated hotel. Great service, very helpful staff

A bit far from dowtown, you need to take the bus (the bus stop is very close to the hotel) and it takes 15 minutes

    Restaurants and bars

    Good bus link into town

Room tiny, more like a hostel, with grubby walls and paintwork. Breakfast choice and quality appalling. We asked to moved but the agent rang back the incorrect phone number in the UK so we were stuck there. We have stayed in a three star hotel nearby earlier this year and it was far superior. This is definately NOT a three star hotel. Also in a very run down area.

    all positive points.

20 mins walk to town. taxis will rip you off if you are not careful. only irritation was being asked to pay 50krona (£2)per bag that they stored for you on your last day from check in till departure. felt this was unnecessary never been charged this at anyother hotel we have stayed at.

very good welcome. people speak english fluently and give you good plans to go down town. The rooms situated on the back are very quiet. possibility to change money, with a very small commission. We will comme back!

Unfortunately this hotel is up a steep hill and on a road which is quite dilapidated and might be intimidating to anyone unused to a city. The twenty five minute walk into the centre of town passes through a number of run down streets and passes a couple of haunts where the homeless and alcoholic seem to congregate. This walk is worse on the return as its uphill (and as we were were there in winter; dark) which makes the situation with taxis in Prague (i.e. do not hail a taxi under any circumstances) and the need to pre-purchase a ticket for public transport a nuisance (the hotel sells these, has printed information and as the staff were helpful with all other requests I'm sure they would be with this if asked but its a complex system with stiff penalties if you get it wrong). Also note that outwith the hotel signs tend not to be in English so you'll need a map all the time

Very clean, good facilities, nice breakfast, free internet access, pleasant helpful staff

A bit further away from the centre than it states in the advert and its not a walk that presents the city in its best light.

Relatively short walk to Old Town Square, Wenceslas Square, Good selection of bars and restaurants (and a particularly nice Italian one) within a couple of minutes walk.

Warm clean rooms and bathroom. Television in room and mini bar aswell as tea/ coffee. Free safe for cash passport etc 100 krono deposit

Hotel based in very poor area for tourist need to use trams and bus always to get to city centre. Morning breakfast advertised as hot buffet not at all only 1 hot item available each morning changing daily from beans, green beans or peas and carrots! not really a breakfast menu

Nothing to do very local area non english speaking with few local restaurants surrounding
