Hotel description Sauipe Class
Renovated in 2009, this is the most modern tourist and entertainment complex in South America. It has four high-standard hotels and six inns, offering a total of 256 guest rooms. The all-inclusive, family-friendly beach hotel has a relaxed style, typical of a beach resort. Guests are welcomed in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, a cloakroom and lift access. Further facilities include a hairdressing salon, children's playground, a bar with tables and chairs, a disco and restaurant. Guests may also make use of the conference facilities, Internet access (fees apply), room and laundry services (fees apply for both), a car park and a bicycle hire service.
Room description
It has rooms and suites all equipped with two telephone lines with voice mail, individually regulated air conditioning and heating, an en suite bathroom with a shower, bathtub and hairdryer and a double or king-size bed. Each room additionally features satellite TV, an iron and ironing board, an in-room safe, minibar, a kitchenette, Internet access and a private balcony or terrace.
Sport activities description
There is a large outdoor swimming pool with children's swimming area and parasols laid out ready for use. Guests may also take part in an aqua fit or aerobics session, relax in the sauna or choose from a range of spa and massage treatments (fees apply to both). Other sport and leisure activities available to guests include diving, surfing, windsurfing, sailing, canoeing, pedal boating, bowling, golf, horse riding and biking. Guests may also enjoy a game of paddle tennis, squash, tennis, table tennis, pool/snooker, basketball, handball, volleyball, beach volleyball, bocce or minigolf. The hotel organises entertainment programmes for adults and children. Sun loungers and parasols are provided on the nearby sandy and rocky beaches.

Located in the municipality of Mata de Sao Joao on the north coast of Bahia, the charming spa complex is located in the Costa do Sauipe resort complex, right on the beach. It is about one hour from Salvador and about 64 km from Salvador's airport.
