This magnificent landscaped resort has taken the meaning of 'lush' to a whole new level, with views including the blossoming gardens, the mountain and the ocean. The air-conditioned beach hotel includes 529 rooms over 4 floors, of which 256 are suites in the concierge suite centre in the Great House (manor). The lobby includes a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a currency exchange and a lift. The resort also features a nightclub, an auditorium, restaurants, meeting facilities with A/V equipment and Internet access/WLAN. Room and laundry services are also available along with car parking for those arriving by car.
Room description
All the rooms and suites include an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, cable TV, a radio alarm and a hire safe. In addition, there is individual air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a king-size bed, ironing set and a coffee machine. The Concierge rooms additionally offer a four-poster bed, a minibar and a fridge, as well as a CD player and bathrobes. There is a butler service available for selected suites and there is room service available for other accommodation categories.
Sport activities description
There are 7 large pools, 100 villa pools, including a large, complimentary main Great House pool, 3 cold plunge pools and 22 Jacuzzis. Changing rooms with toilets and showers are provided. In Sandals Golf & Country Club Ocho Rios, guests will find an 18-hole, par 71, golf course to take advantage of. Lessons are provided at no extra cost along with transport to and from the course, however the caddie service is obligatory but not included. Golf carts and clubs may be rented at an additional charge. A professional entertainment programme is also offered with themed evening.
Meal service description
Breakfast and lunch are available from the buffet served. Evening meals may be selected from the à la carte option. In addition, the restaurants caters for special dietary requirements. It is possible to book an all-inclusive stay.
