The house was constructed by a descendant of the Genovan Cristóbal de Ponte, founder of the town and port of Garachico. There are 8 double rooms with independent lounges, two junior suites and two suites, while the tower is of note for its wonderful views over the town and the coastline. The rooms are unique and vary according to their location, in colour and personality, but they are identical in comfort and service. Amenities include double or king-size beds, a direct dial telephone, a music system with radio, CD, satellite TV, video, and DVD player (music CDs, videos and DVDs are available at the reception with no extra charge). There is also Internet access, a minibar and a safety deposit box. The furniture is from Bauhaus and there is contemporary art on the walls. Air conditioning and central heating are standard features in all accommodation, while each room also has its own balcony or terrace.

Sport activities description

The hotel offers its clients a variety of leisure activities such as mountain bike routes, fishing from the coast of Garachico, hiking, diving, horse riding, surfing, tennis, basketball and more. Golf is also to be found just 10 minutes away at the Buenavista Golf Course, designed by Severiano Ballesteros, and located between the protected area of Teno and the Atlantic Ocean, with marvellous views. The hotel will make golf reservations on request and can offer special golf rates. Furthermore guests can take a refreshing dip in the hotel's heated outdoor swimming pool which has a poolside snack bar, while sun loungers and parasols are laid out on the sun terrace ready for use. The hotel can be found in the heart of the Isla Baja lowlands, between the paved streets of the town and the port of Garachico, on the north-western coast of Tenerife, surrounded by natural swimming pools, filled by the Atlantic, and in the shade of Teide. Garachico is a town situated below the forest crown of the National Park of Teide, at the foot of the Atlantic Ocean. It is approximately 50 km to Tenerife North Airport and 100 km to Tenerife South Airport.
