A 250-year-old mansion, hewn out of caves and once owned by a Greek aristocrat, is now a hotel with a unique and individual design. Decorated with antique furnishings, the hotel's 12 rooms are individually decorated and reflect the formation of the rocks of which they are a part. The restaurant has a mediaeval atmosphere and the courtyard displays works of art by famous Turkish artists. The whole hotel has an ambiance of contemporary luxury. Room description
Displaying illustrations of mediaeval art, 10 of the 12 rooms have fireplaces and each is decorated differently and uniquely with antique and handmade furniture. The amenities offer modern comfort in the most romantic of settings. Each room offers an en suite bathroom with a shower, bath and hairdryer, plus a double or king-size bed, hifi system, Internet access, a safe and a minibar. A washing machine, central heating and a terrace complete the amenities.

This fabulous hotel is located in the small town of Urgup in the Cappadocia region of central Anatolia. It is a convenient base for exploring the area and its many eye-catching attractions. The town centre of Urgup, as well as restaurants and shopping facilities, is around 100 m away, and it is some 450 m to the bus station. Göreme National Park is around 9.5 km away and the fairy chimneys of Göreme are some 8.5 km from the hotel. Derinkuyu Underground City is roughly 40 km from the property.
