A currency exchange facility, laundry and valet services and a self-service launderette and ironing room for guests who prefer to do their own laundry whilst staying in the hotel are also on offer (for a fee). The 156 superior rooms have teak wood furnishings, while the 156 deluxe rooms have oak wood furnishings. All the rooms are 29.6 m² and offer amenities such as wireless broadband Internet access (for a fee), direct dial telephone, a colour TV with satellite channels, an in-room safety deposit box, a minibar, mini fridge, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, as well as an en suite bathroom with long bath and shower, hairdryer, phone and shaver outlet. The rooms feature king-size beds and centrally regulated air conditioning.

The hotel's 24-hour Trishaw Coffee house is furnished with typical 1980s tables and chairs with 2 sets of unique Trishaw cushion seating. The cafe offers local delicacies and desserts. The Jade Room Chinese Restaurant offers a daily lunch and dinner steamboat buffet and has a capacity of up to 600 persons. Kandagawa Japanese Restaurant serves authentic Japanese cuisine set in authentic Japanese surroundings including platform seating. Drinking holes include The Aurora Club (level 16), Link Pub (level 3), Superstar KTV (level 2) and the Popular VIP lounge in the lobby.

The hotel is strategically located in the heart of Singapore's exclusive residential district, a 5-minute drive away from the Orchard Road. It is only 6-10 minutes' walking distance from nearby Novena MRT Station, 3 major shopping centres (Novena Square, Velocity Shopping and United Square), the Tan Tock Seng Hospital and the Church of Alphonsus (Novena Church). Just 8-10 minutes in the other direction, guests will find the Newton MRT Station and the famous Newton Circus Hawker Centre, which serves local cuisine and seafood 24 hours a day. Within a 10-15 minute drive from the hotel are Little India, Arab Street, Fort Canning Park and the National Museum of Singapore. The airport is a 20-25 minute drive away.
