Following its debut in the Roaring 1920s, the air-conditioned city hotel came to be known as Vancouver's most historic and elegant retreat. The opening has returned Vancouver's most legendary hotel to its place as one of the select hotels worldwide. The hotel reflects timeless elegance, with 156 luxurious guest rooms and suites, the Sense, A Rosewood Spa®, 9,853 square feet of function space, and Hawksworth restaurant. Guests are welcomed in the lobby, which offers a 24-hour reception and a 24-hour check-out service, as well as a hotel safe, currency exchange and lift access to the upper floors. There is a café and a bar, and guests will appreciate the conference facilities and wireless Internet access. Guests can also take advantage of the room and laundry services. Those arriving by car may leave their vehicles in the hotel car park or garage (the former for a fee).

Room description

The well-appointed Superior Rooms have one king-size or 2 double beds, as well as a defined seating area and writing desk. The Deluxe Rooms, which make up half of the inventory have windows that open to allow for fresh air. The bathroom features a large walk-in rain shower, a stand-alone bathtub, his and hers vanity and separate toilets. The guest room is equipped with wireless Internet access and a flat-screen TV. The rooms also come equipped with a direct dial telephone, a radio, hifi, safe, minibar, ironing set, individually regulated air conditioning and heating, and tea and coffee making facilities as standard. Guests can also relax on their private terrace. The room is residential in feel, with living room decor in the sitting room and a king-size bed in the bedroom. The decor features soothing latte tones.

Located on the 4th floor of the hotel, Sense, A Rosewood Spa® is a world-class sanctuary offering a full range of therapies, treatments, massages and facials. Adjacent to the spa, a well-appointed gym offers state-of-the-art facilities and a 52-foot, heated, indoor, saltwater lap pool. University Golf Course is approximately 18 minutes by car from the hotel.
