Positioning in town very good. The design was pleasant. The people working in the hotel were helpful and kindly.

The temperature in the room was too high and not regularbar. Even when I switched off the heating I had to open the window.

Great location. Healthy breakfast. Friendly staff. Funky bedroom!

Eat and drink. Shop. Everything is in walking distance.

Decor in bedrooms in bad taste. Poor quality materials. Poor arrangement in bathroom. No tissues. Lack of bins. Poor lighting.

WHY IS THIS SITE IN GERMAN? I don't understand half the questions!

Breakfasts very good & available to noon was excellent as every night out was a late one. Very clean rooms with excellent decor. Very good high-tech shower & lighting system. Room at back had no view but far outweighed by the quiet in the morning. Location of hotel excellent for the best parts of Madrid. Security in the hotel excellent as one could not use the lift without one's room key. Room safe was good & easy to use. Hotel is in a quiet plaza, just far enough away from the Gran Via which even the best hotels on that busy road would not be able to keep out the constant noise of car horns & police car sirens.

Room 707 toilet & bathroom doors would not close fully & could not be locked. When using toilet, the door had to be kept closed with a foot - rather awkward. Instructions on how to switch the several lighting systems on & off would have been helpful. Finally there was a smell of drains when one first entered the room which was not noticeable after a while. It had no definable source but is rather odd for a room on the 7th floor !!

Gran Via 5 mins walk away for great shopping & easy access to the Metro. The Royal Palace & the Prado are within a 15 min stroll, as were many other attractions, such as the Plaz de Puerta del Sol & Plaza Mayor. Many tapas bars & restaurants within 10 mins stroll.

Very stylish hotel in an 'interesting' part of the city. Helpfulness of the reception staff could not be faulted. Fabulous breakfasts!

Lighting in bathroom could be improved with light over handbasin mirror and no mirror/dressing table that was suitable for make-up! No outside view from bedroom window - only view of kitchen ducting.

lovely hotel in a great location! The only downside is the pool bar on the roof which you need to pay to use (?40 for the day, ?20 from 6pm with no use of pool in the evening), tho as a resident of the hotel you get a 10ò0discount (whoop di doo!). I would expect that there should either be a greater discount, or (better yet) make it free if you are staying at the hotel. Warning - if you do decide to go, make sure you make a reservation as it can get completely booked up, esp at the weekends. Barring the comment above, really enjoyed staying here, and the location can't be beat! Highly recommend it!

The hotel was amazing, really fresh, clean and funky. The only real downside was the pool, which was advertised as being a facility for use by hotel guests but you actually had to book and pay 18 Euros for the pleasure of using it. The location was great- really central and with a good buzz.

Had a great time, will definately come back and recommend this hotel.
