Built in 1850 and renovated in 2008, this charming building is one of the few hotels in Rio de Janeiro that is a listed building under government protection. Room description
All rooms are designed by famous Brazilian designers and decorated with works of art. They include all modern comforts such as LCD TV with cable and satellite channels, radio, high-speed WLAN Internet access, air conditioning, minibar, ironing set and safe. The private bathrooms come with shower/bath and hairdryer. More than a half of the rooms have balconies with panoramic views over the Guanabara Bay, the mountains of Teresópolis or Christ the Redeemer. Rooms with a terrace are also available.
