The hotel is situated on a small hill, offering excellent views out over the sea and the pine forest. It comprises a total of 147 double and superior rooms, in addition to a lobby area with a reception desk manned around the clock, a hotel safe, and lift access. Culinary options include the wonderful Main Sunset restaurant, where guests will enjoy a wide range of delicious dishes. It is also possible to make use of the Diogenis Beach snack restaurant. Further facilities available include a currency exchange facility, both car and motorcycle hire, a supermarket, a kids club where younger guests may let off steam, a laundry service (charges apply), and parking for those arriving by car.
Room description
All rooms come with an en suite bathroom with bathtub and hairdryer, centrally regulated air conditioning, a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, in-house music channels, a small fridge, a room safe, and either a balcony or terrace. The standard double rooms are fitted with two single beds (which can be connected), and can be supplied on request with an extra bed. Superior rooms feature a double bed in addition to a single bed, which can also be used as a sofa.
Sport activities description
Leisure facilities at the hotel include a large pool area with separate children's pool, the Sunrise poolside snack bar, and free sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use. Guests may also take advantage of the wide-ranging sports offerings (some for additional charges), including the spa centre, the fully equipped gym, and facilities for playing tennis, table tennis, darts, basketball, and volleyball. Water sports options include banana boating, ring boat riding, water skiing, water polo, canoeing, and pedal boating.
Meal service description
The all-inclusive package includes full board, consisting of a full American breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks (light meals), as well as drinks and an entertainment programme. At the Main Sunset restaurants, guests may select their dishes from the buffet. Complimentary drinks which are served during lunch and dinner include locally produced red and white wine, beer, soft drinks, and still water. At the Diogenis Beach snack restaurant, guests may select between hot and cold snacks, in addition to sampling local beer or seasonal fruits with ice cream, and enjoy coffee and tea with biscuits. Once a week there is a typical Rhodes night with a barbecue, live music, and Greek dancing. On the Italian night, which also takes place once a week, guests are served typical Italian specialities. The Sunrise poolside snack bar serves soft drinks, red and white whine, beer, vodka, rum, ouzo, gin, and light snacks.
