Awarded the prestigious ""Small Treasures of the Bahamas"" prize by the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, this hotel, with its 186 rooms and suites, is both charming and intimate. Renovated in 2005, it is fully air-conditioned and offers a range of facilities including an entrance hall with 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, lift access, a hairdresser, Internet access, a laundry service, a cycle hire service, a children's playground and parking for those arriving by car.
Room description
The waterside rooms feature one king-size bed or two double beds, a private veranda or balcony with two teak or rattan chairs and a cocktail table. They are around 640 square feet in size. There is a large entry/ dressing area, the floor is tiled and the rooms are decorated with yellow walls and light-coloured wood furniture. There is a two-chair dining set and a reading chair, as well as a wet bar and a compact refrigerator. The en suite bathroom features a shower/ bathtub combination. There are ceiling fans along with individually adjustable air conditioning, and guests can make use of the wireless Internet access (surcharge applies). A hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, a cable television, a radio, a minibar, a microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, an iron and ironing board, a double or king-size bed and a safe also come as standard.
Sport activities description
The hotel offers three outdoor swimming pools, complete with sun loungers and parasols. There is also a Jacuzzi. The surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for riding, jet skiing and water skiing. Close by guests can take advantage of the Dolphin Experience and facilities for scuba diving, snorkelling, trapeze diving and deep-sea fishing. Right across the street guests will find two miles of white sand beach, a full service spa, a facility featuring two ""grand slam"" surface tennis courts and a casino.

A buffet breakfast is provided each morning in the Captain´s Gallery, while lunch and dinner may be ordered à la carte.
