The contemporary architecture of the resort is inspired by traditional southern-style Thai homes, which have influenced both the design and choice of natural materials. Respect for the natural beauty is at the heart of project and all large trees have been preserved. The resort was built in 2009 and houses 49 suites and villas. The resort includes a café, bar, restaurants, lobby, 24-hour reception and check-out service plus lift access. Conference facilities and Internet access are provided and for a fee guests can take advantage of room and laundry services. An executive boardroom for up to 20 guests is also available for use and a baby sitting service is available on request. The resort also has its own currency exchange facilities.

Room description

The resort features luxurious and elegantly furnished suites and villas, all of which face and have uninterrupted views of the Andaman Sea. All guest rooms face the ocean with most offering infinity pools from where guests can enjoy mesmerising seascapes. Most rooms also offer a super king-size bed and private veranda with daybed and/or sun loungers. Wifi and WLAN Internet access, minibar, Lavazza espresso machine, LCD satellite/cable TV, DVD and ipod with dock are also provided. En suite rooms are with shower, bath, hairdryer, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, safe and individually regulated air conditioning.

Sport activities description

There is a fully equipped gym, salon, spa with steam room, boutique and library. The cooking school offers guests the opportunity to create their own dinner party, applying what they have learned from the chefs and with the help of staff. A fibre optic lit infinity swimming pool and saltwater floatation pool are also available. The hotel's outdoor swimming pool has its own poolside snack bar, sun terrace and sun loungers. Spa and massage treatments are offered and guests can enjoy diving and sailing for an additional fee.

Meal service description

Diavolo is the resort's main restaurant and serves à la carte breakfast, lunch and dinner. It also features Italian delicacies and its own walk-in wine cellar. Talung Thai is a signature Thai restaurant serving authentic Thai cuisine.

The resort is located on the west coast of Phuket, on the shore of Kamala (approximately a 5-minute drive away from the beach), around a 40-minute drive from Phuket town or about 15 minutes by car from Patong beach, which also is home to bars/pubs, disco/clubs and shops. Phuket International Airport is just a 30-minute drive away or around 35 km from the resort.

How to get there

From Phuket International Airport, drive along road no. 402 (Thepkasattree Road), then turn right onto road no. 4030 (Cheang Talay). Carry straight on until the KAMALA district (road no. 4233). On the beach road a small road (Layi Nakalay Road) can be found. Drive along this road up the hill for approximately 4.5 km and the resort will be located on the right-hand side.
