This beach hotel was renovated in 2007 and comprises a total of 98 rooms. Guests' can make the most of their stay with a refreshing dip in the pool, or with a work session in its magnificent conference centre, the rooms of which are all fully equipped. Additional facilities on offer include an entrance hall with 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility, a café, a restaurant, room service and, for an additional fee, a laundry service. There is a playground for younger guests and parking is provided for those arriving by car.
Room description
The bright bedrooms, with terraces looking out over the sea, bewitch the guest with the beauty of the surrounding area. Each comes with an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, as well as a satellite/ cable TV, a minibar, central heating, centrally regulated air conditioning, a safe and a terrace.
Sport activities description
There is an outdoor swimming pool on the hotel grounds with a children's paddling section and a poolside snack bar, as well as a sun terrace with loungers and parasols laid out ready for use. Tennis courts are available and there are opportunities for diving in the local area (charges apply). Guests can also get to know the area through archaeological excursions, caving, diving, ecological walks, golfing, following nature trails, snorkelling, swimming and trekking. Local festivals include the patron saint's day, which can be enjoyed in Mojacar on the 28th August. The ‘Moors and Christians' festivities take place in mid-June, in Mojácar and Garrucha ‘Virgen del Carmen' is celebrated on the 16th July. The Marina Golf Course is a 15-minute drive from the hotel.
Meal service description
The restaurant offers the finest of Almerian cuisine, including 'arroz a la Garruchera' (a rice dish), 'gambones de Garrucha' (prawns), 'amarillo de pescado en cuajadera' (fish), and, for dessert, 'pastel de Vera' (a kind of cake) and 'crema mojaquera' (cream).

The centre of Mojacar is just 20 minutes away by foot and the beach at Piedra is 20 m from the hotel's doorstep. Attractions worth a visit in Mojacar include the town's port, the viewing point of the Plaza Nueva and the castle. The Playas de Mojácar is a stunning 5 km stretch of untouched beach coastline. The nature reserve Cabo de Gata offers visitors a fascinating glimpse of the fabulous fauna and flora indigenous to the area and there are sand dunes and sites for bird watching just 80 km away. Tabernas Desert and the Zoological Reserve are 60 km from the hotel, which is 5 km from Garrucha, 16 km from Vera and 18 km from the motorway. Almeria is approximately 90 km away and the airports of Almeria and Murcia are 80 km and 150 km from the hotel respectively.

How to get there
If driving from Murcia take the Mediterranean motorway and leave at exit no. 534 (Vera) towards Garrucha, then take the beach road to Mojacar. If driving from Almeria take the Mediterranean motorway exit no. 520 (los Gallardos) and drive towards Mojacar and Turre.
