Room description
The main house on the Riva degli Schiavoni features deluxe rooms facing the lagoon and superior double and triple rooms overlooking the internal courtyard. In the annex, close to Campo San Zaccaria, there are standard doubles, twins or singles furnished in '1700 Venetian style. All accommodation units come with a shower and hairdryer, as well as a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, individually regulated air conditioning and heating units and a safe for guests' valuables. The triple room is a double room plus extra bed.

I stayed in the annex building a few steps away from the main building. The room did not have a glorious view and was surely
not something spectacular, but was cosy, had a retro feel, warm, clean and very good for individual stay and moreover I only
needed the room to sleep and I was getting value for money. The sound of the bells reverberated through the alleys and into
the room, still living the experience after a week. The best part though is the location. You get off the boat at San Zaccaria
and there is the hotel, a couple of minutes walk to San Marco and the Bridge of Sighs can be seen in every mood. Do not have
to walk far to catch a glorious sunrise over the Gondolas. The staff are very helpful and very knowledgeable, especially Marco,
told me the best places for food and to visit and I was visiting during Christmas when most shops closed. The buffet breakfast
had loads of variety and kept me full till lunch even with all the walking.
