This city hotel is in an historic, Ottoman building from 1854, and was renovated in 2006. It comprises 54 rooms and suites spread over 3 floors. Amongst the facilities offered by the hotel is an entrance hall with a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility, a cloakroom, a lift to the Premium levels, and a newspaper kiosk. In addition, there is a bar, 2 restaurants, a business service with a fax, a PC, a scanner and a printer as well as high-speed Internet access/WLAN. Room description
There are 4 different types of rooms and suites available. The rooms were all recently renovated, and have an Oriental, elegant and comfortable décor. All have double-glazing and an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer. They are fitted with air conditioning, a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, Internet access with WLAN, a PC Dataport, a minibar, a small desk, a double or king-size bed and a safe. Some rooms come with a balcony. The Premium rooms also come with a tea/ coffee maker, high speed Internet access/ WLAN and a bathrobe. A complimentary welcome drink and a choice of fruit are also offered.

All guests may take advantage of the Turkish bath facilities.
Meal service description
The Padisah restaurant offers a breathtaking view of the ""Caferaga Medrese"" and serves excellent traditional Turkish cuisine. The Sadrazam restaurant offers buffets with a large selection of Turkish and international dishes. The Saltanat bar welcomes guests with its warm atmosphere, creative drinks and special cocktails for different times of the year.

The hotel is situated in an inspiring location, directly in the heart of the Old Town, in a slightly elevated position surrounded by the most important historic and cultural sights, and with a view of the impressive Hagia Sophia museum. The most important shopping area, the harbour area and Sultanahmed Square are all easily accessible on foot. It is approximately 200 m to the tram stop Sultanahmed, and 19 km from Atatürk international airport.

How to get there
On leaving the airport, guests should take a right at the first crossing with traffic lights, and follow signs to Sirkeci/ Sahilyolu. At the roundabout with a large fountain in the middle, take a left towards Sirkeci. Drive for about 17 km along the coast, then take a left at the first sign towards Sultanahmed. Drive under a small railway bridge, then take the next road right. Drive straight ahead, continuing slightly uphill, past the Arasta bazaar on the left side and later the Sultanahmed mosque. Having reached the centre of Sultanahmed, guests will see the impressive Hagia Sophia museum building. Between the Hagia Sophia museum and the main road on which the tram runs, there is a narrow road, where visitors will find the hotel: Caferage Street number 6/1.
