The resort is situated around 5 minutes' drive from the centre of Orlando, and is just minutes from all of Orlando's main attractions and theme parks. Nightclubs in Orlando can be found around a 10-minute drive from the resort, as can the Greyhound bus station and the railway station. Shopping opportunities are available at the Mall at Millenia, which is around 15 minutes' drive away, or in Tampa, around an hour's drive away. By car it is about 20 minutes to Universal Orlando or Wet'n'Wild, and around 25 minutes to Walt Disney World. The Amway Arena is approximately a 5-minute drive away.
