The hotel room was about £50 for a double room including breakfast which, if you're travelling on a budget is great value. However, the hotel markets itself as a four star hotel. Four stars it most certainly is not. I sacrificed location in favour of luxury. Unfortunately from what I experienced there is no luxury at this hotel. I have stayed in nicer hotels in Prague, for a similar price but in a more central location. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone
Nice reception area. Close to public transport links. Polite reception staff.
On two occasions there was no hot water for a shower. A phonecall to reception remedied this making me believe that they have the ability to switch hot water on and of for each room. The double bed was actually two single beds pushed together and the mattresses were incredibly hard. There was a smell of damp in the corridor on the fourth floor. In the breakfast room we went in at around 9.15am and about 75% of the tables we unoccupied and not one of them had been cleared so we had to clear a table ourselves. We used the swimming pool which, at 100Kc I thought was overpriced considering how small it was and the fact that the water was so cold we got out after less than ten minutes.
The location of the hotl was good for us because it was away from the centre of Prague which is what I wanted. I'm not aware of there being much to do in the area but this did not trouble me.

Excellant tram connections very close to hotel
Good Location, Pleasant Staff, Clean, good rooms - would stay there again
Paying for swimming pool Time it takes to be served in restuarant Breakfast - never enough hot foods ready at the same time, not always enough room, cups etc. Fridge in room not working - and not re-paired or replaced - 5 days without a fridge!!
Park leading to Castle - lots to see Walking distance to castle and buildings Resturarants

The room was clean and spacious. No noise on the corridors at night or coming in from outside.
Rooms were very warm especially at night. Air conditioning was left on all day while we were out yet when we returned room was still warm. Obviously air conditioning was not working and this was the same in the two rooms occupied by our group.
The number 22 tram was straight across the road from the hotel. It ran very frequently and we never had to wait more than 10minutes on one to arrive. This tram takes you right into town and by following your map you can decide to get off at whatever stop is closer to the place you want to visit. The castle is within walking distance and as it is a downhill walk it's quite easy for anyone to do. Charles bridge is also fairly close with lots of little shops to go into on the .

Very positive impression as a whole, the hotel is perfectly situated.
The cleaniless of the hotel could be better.
Visiting the castle. Unfortunately no supermarket found nearby, we had to go into the city center to do our everyday shopping.

Although on the face of it hotel would appear to be on outskirts central Prague is only approx 20-30 minute walk down hill and castle itself a 10-15 minute walk. Location is good and great views over Prague just left and across road from hotel. Breakfast is always good, with a variety of options including soup, which being vegetarian I would have preferred to be vegetarian every day, but alas. Rooms are good and alround a good four star and generally good value for money.
None really to report
There are several bars/restaurants all within five/ten minute walk left first recommended bar would be Boca Boca which has only been open in last two years and therefore quiet modern and good for a late night drink before heading back to hotel. Past Boca Boca and up in courtyard area there is a restaurant that has traditional Czech pub grub ,I suppose you would say and has its own micro brewery which is worth a visit to sample their home brews, the name of place escapes me but beer is Svaty v Norbert or something similar and is signed so outside place itself.

Very comfortable hotel - excellent breakfast facilities and choice - all in all, a very pleasant stay.
Bar prices a bit on the high side.

The hotel was reasonably clean, & the staff spoke good English. Would recommend the hotel restaurant, not overly priced & great food as well as wonderfully decorated ceiling.
Although the hotel promotes the swimming pool on site it does not really state that it is extra to pay to use the facility, & that is quite a lot extra! It was a disappointment that the room did not have tea/coffee facilities in the room, only a mini bar - which again was expensive!
Hotel position is good, reasonable walking distance to the castle etc.

Very positive impression as a whole, the hotel is perfectly situated.
