This 19th century mansion is set within 7 acres of private woodland with roaring log fires, sweeping staircases and magnificent interior design over 3 floors with 36 rooms. Facilities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a currency exchange, a cloakroom, a lift and a bar. The Tapestry Restaurant, so called because of the ornate tapestry work on the walls, is a fantastic setting for an intimate dining experience. After dinner it is possible to relax in the stately library, in front of the roaring log fire and choose from the extensive range of the best of Scottish whiskeys or wines from around the world. Meeting facilities and Internet access are also provided as well as rooms and laundry services. Bicycle rental and a car park are also included in the services.

The en-suite bedrooms all include luxury and modern facilities to suit the needs of today's travellers, whilst still retaining the history and ambience of days gone by. Amenities include an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, a radio, wireless Internet access, double beds and central heating.

Meal service description

Breakfast is available to guests each morning. At lunchtime and in the evenings, guests may select dishes from a set menu and at lunchtime there is also an à la carte menu available to choose from. In addition, the hotel caters for guests with special dietary requirements.
