Colmar, worldfamous town, known for it's historic center, with it's channels and timber framed secular houses, lies in the Alsace Region in north-eastern France. Close to Germany and Switzerland, nestled between the Vosges Mountains and the Rhine River, Colmar is also close to Strasbourg (65 km), Freiburg im Breisgau and Mulhouse (40 km) and Basle (60 km). The hotel is quietly situated in a residential area within a 8 minutes walk or 3 minutes bus drive from the car free city centre. Unterlinden Museum with its unique Isenheim Altarpiece, Bartholdi Museum (The designer of the Statue of Liberty), the Toy Museum and the romantic spots of the "Little Venice" district are reachable in around 10 minutes with public transports (bus stop at 80 m from the hotel). The Alsatian Wine Route can be joined at 4 km, The "Ballon des Vosges" Natural Park (Eagle watching) at 25 km and Europapark Rust in less than an hour.

How to get there
From south (Mulhouse, Basle) on motorway A35 take Exit Nr 24 direction Colmar-Nord and in the first roundabout, the 3rd exit direction Ladhof/Centre Ville. The hotel is on the right after 1.5 km. From north (Strasbourg) on motorway A35 take Exit Nr 23-Colmar on D83 and continue direction Colmar, Colmar-Centre and later Centre Ville for 4.5 km. Then turn left direction Ladhof and the hotel is on the left after 350 m. From Germany (Freiburg im Breisgau) on the german A5 motoway take Exit 64a-Bad Krozingen direction Colmar, cross the border and the Rhine River and continue direction Colmar and later Colmar-Centre on D418/Route de Neuf-Brisach. After 4 km turn right on Avenue d'Alsace direction Zone industrielle and 130 m later turn right direction Ladhof. The hotel is on the left after 350 m. In public transports: The train station of Colmar is linked with Strasbourg, Basle/Mulhouse and Besançon. From there take bus Nr 24 until Billing or lines 1,2,4,5,7,8 & 20-26 until Théâtre and then line 2 until Billing. The hotel is at 80 m.
