Meal service description
The hotel restaurant, which has been a member of the prestigious Buon Ricordo chain since 1969, is on the splendid large terrace directly overlooking the lake. In the centre there is a large open area and the verandas are surrounded by sliding glass walls that reveal the wonderful landscape. Beside a wide choice of Italian and international dishes guests can find the typical fare of traditional lake gastronomy; because it is also through the palate that one can get to know people and the area where they live. Buffets are served at all meal times, whilst lunch and dinner are alternatively offered from set menus and à la carte.

The hotel is located in a beautiful town on the Piedmontese shore of Lake Maggiore, one of the most beautiful lakes of Northern Italy. It is 5 km from Stresa and only 10 minutes from Arona, in the bay of the Borromeo Islands. At the foot of the Alps, it is very close to Monte Rosa and can be reached through the Mont Blanc tunnel. Ascona and Locarno, 2 towns in Italian-speaking Switzerland, which can be reached by boat, car and bus, are also nearby. Guests can reach the bus within about a 2-minute walk and the railway station is some 650 m away. The hotel has its own private beach.
