By train: from Naples' Piazza Garibaldi Station: take the Circumvesuviana Napoli - Sorrento/Poggiomarino/Torre Annunziata and get out at Ercolano. Follow the signs for the ""Scavi Archeologici""(the excavations) and turn left. The hotel is around 200 m away - Estimated journey time: 20 minutes. By plane: fly to Napoli Capodichino Airport and then take either the A3 motorway (see instructions) or the Circumvesuviana Napoli (see instructions).By car: take the A3 motorway Napoli-Salerno and exit for Ercolano. At the exit go straight on, follow signs for the ""Scavi Archeologici""(the excavations) and turn left. The hotel is around 200 m away. By boat: travel to the port of Naples Mergellina/Beverello and take the "Metro del Mare", getting off at the stop Ercolano. Follow the signs for the ""Scavi Archeologici""(the excavations), and continue 500m towards the centre of the town.
