Hotel description L'Orangeraie
Formerly an antique convent and now a recently established hotel, this majestic 1900's mansion has not lost any of its former charm. Nestled in a magnificent park of hundred-year-old palm trees, this legendary hotel offers a wide panorama on the sea, from Cap Lardier to Les Îles d'Or, Le Levant and Port-Cros. The hotel offers 31 sunny and spacious bedrooms and suites, recently renovated, with a breathtaking view of the park, the sea and the islands. Hotel facilities on offer to guests include a hotel safe, cloakroom, lift access, a bar, a restaurant and conference facilities. For additional fees guests may take advantage of the room service and bicycle hire. A laundry service (with charge) and car park are additionally provided.
Room description
The rooms combine high comfort and personalised decoration in romantic or Provencal style. The lovely en suite bathrooms come with a bath and/or shower and are decorated with bright or pastel mosaics. All rooms are equipped with a hairdryer, double bed, direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, safe and an ironing set.
Sport activities description
There is an outdoor swimming pool under the palm trees and a beautiful period chapel, perfect for the organisation of weddings, honeymoons, cocktails, receptions and events. Refreshments are served at the poolside snack bar. Sun loungers and parasols are laid out for use. The beach is only 2 km away (a shuttle during high seasons available) and offers water sports, cruises to the islands, massages (for a fee), visits to vineyards and wine tasting. Golf Club de Beauvallon is about 10 km from the hotel.

The surroundings of the hotel immerse guests in the heart of Provence to discover the untouched historical villages perched upon wine-growing hills, Gassin, Ramatuelle and the village of Grimaud, or along the famous coast from Le Lavandou to Cavalaire with endless beaches and well-hidden creeks, without forgetting the legendary Saint-Tropez and Port-Grimaud, the local Venice. The bus station is around 500 m from the hotel and the beach is some 2 km away. Nice Côte d'Azur Airport is situated at a distance of approximately 100 km.

How to get there
By car: take the motorway A8 La Provençale to exit Sainte-Maxime/Saint-Tropez. Arrive at Sainte-Maxime, then cross the town and head toward Saint-Tropez. At the roundabout La Foux, continue for La Croix Valmer. At the village of La Croix Valmer continue toward Ramatuelle from the roundabout, and the hotel is 500 m on the left.
