I do not have one positive thing to say about this hotel.

WARNING - this hotel is not English friendly. I have worked in the travel industry for many years now and I have had the opportunity to travel the world and stay in many 5 star hotels, however LAS ARENAS was by far the worst hotel I have ever been to. It's a shame because the actual hotel building itself is breathtaking and is a ideal location to visit the beach and city however it's the staff that lets this hotel down. You would think being a 5 star luxury hotel they would cater for all people well this was not the case. The bar staff were unbelievably rude to me and my girlfriend on many occasions as they did not speak any English and found it hard to communicate with us, they were not friendly at all and couldn't even give us a menu to point at the drinks we would like, instead we had to offer ourselves. When the cocktail we had ordered came it was full of lemon and salt as if they were taking the piss out of us, when I told her this is not the cocktail we ordered she argued with us and ensured it was and wouldn't even get us a new one or even apologise, we then saw her laughing with the barren about the situation. Surely for a 5 star hotel the customer is always right and the service should b exceptional? We were also accused of signing the wrong room number when we didn't and had to prove ourselves to reception. The hotel does not cater for how many rooms they have and the hotel resturaunts were always full throughout the day. The whole experience was awful and completely ruined our 3 day break to Valencia (thank god it was only 3 days!) The staff are disgusting and rude, do not go to this hotel it will ruin your holiday.

The hotel is very clean and well looked after, a feeling of luxury the whole time.

The Biopark (Zoo) is wel worth a visit

A well appointed comfortable hotel. Clean and thoroughtfully equipt to allow guests to enjoy their stay. Many extra services available on request. Bath rooms outstanding.Food excellent. Spa and swimming pool facilities very good.

Reception not very welcoming, and slowish on arrival. When checking out the telephone was more important than the guest and there were no smiles or pleasantries.This was the only area in the whole hotel including the pool were staff were not as friendly or efficient.

Easy access to the town centre. The beach is across from the hotel, and there are small bars and resaurants within easy walking distance.

i have neglected to rate the food option the breakfast was excellent in quality and valuebut the restauerant/bistro in the evening is greatly overpriced and the food does not match what you are charged this area is letting the rest of the high standards set down badly

Très calme. Personnel très pro et disponible. Grande réactivité. Spa magnifique. Petit déjeuner buffet tardif (11h)

Estupendo hotel, negativa la ubicacion y el entorno deja mucho que desear y no se corresponde ni la playa ni las viviendas. No hay ninguna tienda,en los alrededores. Playa del Cabañal., muy sucia.

Calidad en las instalaciones y servicios y atención del personal.

Los precios en bar y restaurante son algo elevados, pero si los comparamos con los de otros establecimientos de los alrededores, y teniendo en cuenta la calidad de las instalaciones y el servicio,se tornan más razonables.

En verano, sobre todo, actividades relacionadas con las playas próximas.
