The hotel is the largest timber-log inn in the Southern Hemisphere. The hotel brings back some of the history of the bygone timber industry with its yellow wood carved interior and stairways. Room description
The rooms are very elegantly decorated in keeping with the earthy style of the hotel. All rooms come with a flat screen TV with satellite/cable channels, tea/coffee making facilities and an electronic safe. The en suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower, bath and a hairdryer. A double bed, direct dial telephone and Internet access are also standard amenities. The air conditioning and heating are individually regulated. Most rooms have a balcony, while those without have a slightly bigger room size.
Sport activities description
The hotel offers guests an all-season swimming pool heated to 24ºC throughout the year as well as a hot tub, steam room and a sauna. Sun loungers and parasols are laid out for use. There is a golf course roughly 7 km from the hotel.

George Airport is situated at a distance of approximately 65 km, whilst Port Elizabeth Airport and Cape Town International Airport are roughly 280 km and 450 km away, respectively.
