This new city hotel, Lisbon's first design hotel, is a new departure owing to its concept and location. It is conveniently located in Belém, at the heart of Lisbon's major monuments and museums. This urban resort incorporates three colours into its contemporary design: an exciting chocolate brown, stimulating carmine red and a relaxing cream colour, all of which combine to incite surprising feelings of harmony and tranquillity in an increasingly cosmopolitan Lisbon. The quality of the service will add a touch of refinement that is expected of most cultural and social events. Guests are welcomed into the hotel lobby at this air-conditioned establishment, which features 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe and lift access. Further facilities include a hairdressing salon, bar and a restaurant. Internet access is available, and conference facilities are provided for business guests. Guests may also take advantage of the hotel's room and laundry services (fees apply).

Room description

Rooms feature natural light, as well as a bed with a leather headboard and an orthopaedic mattress. Further facilities include a direct dial telephone, an LCD cable TV, wireless Internet access and a desk and individually adjustable air conditioning. All rooms come with a private bathroom with a shower/bathtub and a hairdryer. A minibar, safety deposit box, double glazed windows and 220/230V plug sockets are further standard features.

The hotel is located next to the imposing Jerónimos Monastery and Belém Cultural Centre, which houses the famous Berardo Collection Museum. The Belém Tower, the Monument of the Discoveries, the Royal Coaches National Museum, the Navy Museum and the Tropical Garden are all only a few steps away from the hotel. Guests may also enjoy sea walks to different docks, as well as the famous ‘Pastéis de Belém'. Furthermore, the hotel offers easy access to Lisbon's Congress Centre and the main business centres, which are in close proximity. Lisbon's Portela Airport is some 10 km away.
