The hotel opened its doors in July 2011 after a major renovation of a XVIII century palace which was originally a monastery. The establishment offers 105 beautiful and classical rooms. A concierge desk caters to all guests' needs and provides guests with tourist information services, as well as advice regarding restaurants, tours, museums, plus transfers. The reception desk is available 24-hours a day offering a 24-hour check-out service, a hotel safe and currency exchange facilities. The air-conditioned building comprises a lobby with lift access. A TV lounge also features, and guests can relax in the café or bar, whilst fine food is served in the restaurant. Conference facilities are provided and for an additional fee guests can take advantage of the hotel's Internet access. The hotel is housed in a landmark palace located at the heart of the historical city centre. The hotel is situated on Liberdade Square, just steps from the main cultural sites such as Bolhao market, Ribeira and Clérigos tower. Guests can visit the beach which is to be found around a 10-minute drive from the hotel. The hotel is strategically located only 20 minutes (15 km) from Porto International Airport.

How to get there

Take the A28 following the directions to Matosinhos/Porto A1 Lisboa, and continue past the Associação Industrial Portuense on the Avenida da Boavista. From Boavista Avenue there will be signs for the city centre. Head towards Aliados, Aliado Avenues ends at Praça da Liberdade, where guests will arrive at the hotel. The hotel is located to the right of the main square.
