Opened in 2003, this 15-floor designer hotel is surrounded by a sprawling garden complex and comprises a total of 451 rooms. Facilities include an elegant foyer with a 24-hour reception desk, a sitting area and lifts in addition to shops including a jewellers and a boutique, 2 bars and 4 excellent restaurants with non-smoking areas (buffet, Asian, Italian à la carte, garden restaurant). Furthermore, the hotel is linked to a vast banqueting and conference centre and offers room service as well as a kids' club for the hotel's younger visitors (2 to 7 years of age, Wednesday until Sunday, 10 am - 12 pm and 12:45 pm - 6:30 pm, parents should sign in and sign out their children). On the roof terrace from where one can enjoy wonderful panoramic views of St. George's Bay, is a large swimming pool with an integrated children's pool, a poolside snack bar and a sun terrace with parasols and sun loungers laid out ready for use. Further leisure options include an oversized indoor pool, a sauna, steam baths, whirlpool, a state of the art fitness centre featuring 70 cardiovascular machines, a free-weights room, reclining wall, 2 squash courst and a variety of aerobic classes (fees apply). Various beauty and spa treatmentsalso available. Squash and aerobics may be tried out (fees apply) and a bowling alley and 16-cinema complex with a 3D cinema are all to be found within a few meters of the hotel. Occasional evening shows are put on to provide some variation.

With eight restaurants and five bars, the varied international cuisine features tastes ranging from the Mediterranean to the Orient, in buffet style restaurants as well as à la carte, both indoors and al fresco.
