The hotel is a jewel of classical and historical value, and has a rich history dating back to the golden era of the 19th Century. Established in 1865 and fully renovated in 2006, the hotel has an architectural influence of the high Victorian period. At that time Malta was a British colony and many people started imitating British lifestyles, including building stately homes according to British architectural design. This air-conditioned hotel offers 95 comfortable and spacious bedrooms and provides guests facilities including a reception lobby with 24-reception, a currency exchange service, a cloakroom, lift access, and a bar, café and restaurant. A games room, a TV room, conference facilities, Internet access (at a charge), a garage and parking facilities (at a charge), including space for storing bicycles, also feature. Room description
The rooms have been especially designed for the traveller who enjoys resting after a full day of activities. Tea and coffee making facilities (not included with bed only), a refrigerator (on request and at a charge), an iron and ironing board, double or single beds and a hire safe also feature. Most rooms have a lovely view of the hotel's internal gardens and swimming pool, or else overlook the streets of Sliema.
Sport activities description
