Historic records relate that the original building was built by monks (this is proved by the small church still present on the site today). Over the years, the property was turned into a flourishing farm as can be seen by the structure and also by the orchard. Because of the ancient features still visible (such as wooden walls, clay and straw bricks, stone floors, wooden and wrought-iron furniture) the hotel is a heritage-listed building. The refurbishment of the hotel has safeguarded the features and the magical atmosphere of the original building. This historical beach hotel comprises a total of 39 rooms. Facilities on offer to guests include a lobby area, a bar, a restaurant, conference facilities and parking. Furthermore, The Anfiteatro disco is an ideal setting for parties, dancing and events. The dance floor is dug into the floor and is surrounded by large Dolmen stones, the bar area and the deejay set are located in a cave just behind the swimming pool. The Anfiteatro also hosts live music shows, theme parties and much more.
Room description
The beautiful antique-style rooms come equipped with all comforts, including a private bathroom with shower, a double bed, air conditioning, satellite TV, a telephone and a safe (on request). They are characterised by wooden furniture, wrought-iron bed frames, stone walls and floors and wooden ceilings. Some rooms are located in oldest part of the building, which dates back to the 19th century, whereas some others are located in the section of the building which used to be a farm and was built at the turn of the century.

The restaurant offers regional and international cuisine and has 2 main halls: Sala del Re (The King's Hall) and Sala della Corte (The Court Room). The restaurant is also equipped with a clay oven for preparing pizzas and a large barbecue for roasting and grilling.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Only some staff spoke English but all were very approachable. They even baked a birthday cake
for my brother in law and would not charge us for it. Food was OK a caraff of house wine was included with the meal. limited
