This is a small boutique hotel comprising a selection of just 19 rooms and suites. The space is totally original, bespoke, comfortable and intimate. The building is housed within the historic Counts of Paraty Palace and all the interiors were decorated by Miguel Câncio Martins (Buddha Bar Paris, Pacha Marrakech). The design is intended to evoke the spirit of a classic old style and offer a unique approach to the hotel experience. The hotel is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Room description
The rooms and suites offer magnificent views across the city and the River Tagus. All are spacious and comfortable, combining a classic atmosphere with contemporary design features within the calm sanctuary of the private garden. Two of the suites are furnished with double or king-size Hästens beds, considered to be the best in the world. All rooms are en suite with a shower, bath and hairdryer. Further in-room amenities include a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, Internet access, a safe, ironing set and individually regulated air conditioning.
Meal service description
The hotel restaurant creates a very distinctive atmosphere combined with creative Portuguese cuisine, but dares to be different. Breakfast is served in buffet form.
