How to get there
Departing from the airport, take the motorway named ER 101 toward Funchal. Then leave at exit number 18 Gaula - Porto Novo. Continue along the small road and turn right and then left at the first road. There is a blue sign (AFM - Centro de Formação) on a sloping road. Go straight until the second intersection and turn right on the road 'João Nicolau Vieira Freita', then turn left until reaching the junction towards the AFM (Centro de Formação). Take the road 'Padre Alfredo Vieira Freitas'. About 100 metres from the junction the aparthotel is on the left.
