It represents a landmark building and a New Zealand icon. The complex includes 2 distinctive accommodation wings: The Hotel Wing reflects delightful ornate touches carefully preserved from the building's original art deco design while the Tower Wing offers a more contemporary style. The Hotel and Tower wings are connected by a walkway enabling guests to easily access the exceptional range of facilities available. The hotel is fully air-conditioned and includes a lobby with a 24-hour reception desk and check-out facility, currency exchange facilities, lift access, a hairdressing salon, bars, restaurants and conference facilities. For an additional fee, guests can use the hotel's WLAN Internet access and enjoy the room and laundry services and leave their vehicles in the private car park.
Room description
The hotel offers a range of accommodation, from Standard to Superior guest rooms. All rooms are en suite and include a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, a satellite TV, a radio and Internet access. There is a kitchen with a minibar, a fridge, an oven, a microwave and a washing machine. Guests can enjoy complimentary tea and coffee and use the iron and ironing board included in the room.
