It offers a free shuttle service for guests from the train station in Zermatt to the hotel and back on arrival and departure days. The hotel is situated in the southern, quieter part of Zermatt, with a breath-taking view of the Matterhorn. The nearest restaurant is around 100 m away, the town centre with bars and clubs is around 800 m away, and Zermatt's tourist centre and shops can be found within around 1 km of the hotel. It is only 7 km away from the Small Matterhorn Express Gondola, and in good snow conditions it is even possible to ski in and out of the hotel in the wintertime.
