Since opening its doors over 28 years ago, the hotel has been the most widely recognised, infamous resort in the world, with the highest volume of return guests and loyal clientele in the industry. Renovated in 2005, the air-conditioned hotel comprises a total of 280 rooms. Room description
Each of the rooms has been completely renovated with a new colour scheme, soft furnishings and bathrooms featuring new multi-head showers. A 4-person suite with a Jacuzzi may be booked. Standard room amenities include a new TV set with cable, a hairdryer, coffee and tea making facilities, ironing equipment and a king-sized bed.
Sport activities description
Amongst the leisure options count 5 swimming pools, a Jacuzzi, a sauna and, on payment of additional (nominal) fees, spa treatments and a massage service. Individual and couples massages are available, as are reflexology, aromatherapy, seaweed wraps, facials and nail technology, manicures, pedicures and much, much more. Daily activities on offer include reggae dance lessons, a lunchtime spin, Olympic days, body painting, treasure hunts, T-shirt competitions and best body contests in addition to a gaming lounge, table checkers, a reading room, a games room and a hammock lounge. Sports enthusiasts may make use of the floodlit tennis courts, air-conditioned squash courts, badminton, basketball, volleyball shuffleboard, and table tennis facilities, use the bicycles, play minigolf, go rock climbing, play pool or work out in the air-conditioned gym. There is also a circus workshop to participate in.

Facilities for the disabled include 3 rooms with wheelchair access (1131, 2110 GVN and 2140 GVR), with a portable ramp to access to bedroom and bars in the bathroom in addition to lifts. All areas of the hotel may be accessed by wheelchair users with the exception of the piano bar where there are a few steps at the entrance, and the dance floor in the main dining room is sunken and so not accessible. The nightclub is accessible and is the venue for energetic, non-stop, flat out partying. Enjoy an active holiday for the body, mind and soul.
