Built in 1890 and renovated in 2005, this was formerly a coaching inn and has been transformed into a first-class business and leisure hotel comprising of 2 floors with a total of 46 rooms, which includes 4 suites. Facilities available to guests include a spacious lobby with comfortable seating and a 24-hour reception desk. During the summer months guests enjoy the enclosed courtyard or wander through the hotel's extensive gardens. A car park is available for those arriving by car.
Room description
Each of the spacious rooms comes with an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, a radio, Internet access and a double or king-sized bed. Central heating features as standard and all rooms afford fabulous views out over the extensive hotel gardens or the quiet, secluded courtyard and fountain.
Sport activities description
The hotel has a curling rink (September to March) on the grounds which can be used by guests and two 18-hole golf courses. Trout fishing can be organised on Loch Leven. Guests also have access to the leisure centre with indoor swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room and hot tub at the sister hotel Windlestrae located across the road.
Meal service description
Guests may select their breakfast and lunch from ample buffets; lunch and the evening meal may alternatively be taken à la carte or chosen from a menu. Special dietary requirements and individual-specific dishes can be provided. It is possible to book a half-board stay.

The hotel enjoys quick and convenient access to the M90 motorway and is just 50 m from the nearest shopping venues, restaurants, bars and nightclubs, whilst the nearest links to the public transport are to be found approximately 20 m away. Edinburgh airport is only a 30-minute drive from the hotel.
