EXCELLENT STAFF AND FACILITIES, RESTAURANTS THE BEST WE ATE IN THE WHOLE OF DUBAI.

Celebrating our one year wedding anniversary - hotel was outstanding. Beautiful hotel and beautiful room with very helpful and friendly staff.

Breakfast included in our price, however we were charged 308 dhs for room service (around £50 sterling) for ordering it to our room even though we were encouraged to do so. VERY UPSET about this. Breakfast consisted of scarambled egg, toast and pork bacon (small portion) pancakes and orange juice - not worth £50!! Our 2 course evening meal the night before was cheaper. I expected to pay a service fee for food being delivered to our room - not being charged again for breakfast that we had effectively already paid for. We were told at check out that it was only included in the price if we ate it in the restaurant and that it was a buffet style breakfast. My husband and I would have eaten a lot more if we had done that!! This made us feel very let down and we left the hotel feeling quite disheartened.

Take the Big Bus Company tour. 2 really nice tours: 1) City centre, and 2) Jumeirah Beach tour (Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah hotel, Atlantis the Palm hotel, Mall of Emirates etc..)! Additionally, go for the desert safari (offered again by the Big Bus Company) on 4x4 jeep, belly dancing and arab food in oases! Don't miss the Burj Dubai area with the tallest building in the world (400 metres), the Neos bar at the Address hotel for a drink and spectacular views of Dubai at night, the Dubai Mall, and definetely watch the shows with the dancing fountains, all in the same area (Burj Dubai)! Unbelievable magic scenery!

Everything was perfect in this real 5* hotel! Check-in procedure was really fast, every single member of hotel staff were amazingly kind and helpful and most of all professional! Room size really huge with extra walk-in wardrobe room, huge marble bathroom with big shower and bathtub, daily amenities, bathrobes and flippers. Mini bar with everything you can imagine (!), and daily complimentary fruits and water in the room! Housekeeping twice per day! Breakfast was ample! Don't miss the variety of fresh juices! Nice pool environment with different kinds of food and drinks available, really good spa facilities! Asked for a late check-out as well as I was flying really late at night (00.00) and I was happily shocked when they let me keep the room until 18.00 with no additional cost at all and afterwards let me use the spa facilities for spending some time there again for free! Nowhere else before I was treated that !

No negative comments! Everything was absolutely fantastic!

Wafi shopping centre within walking distance from the hotel, one of the nicest shopping centres in Dubai, especially the -1 and -2 floors with traditional 'souk' markets and nice arab environment!
