The area surrounding the hotel is very well kept and parents are offered use of the children's playing field nearby. There are 93 rooms available. Facilities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a safe, a currency exchange, lift access, a bar, a games room and 2 restaurants. Conference facilities are also available along with Internet access for an added fee. Room services are offered for additional charges as well as bicycle rental and a garage.

Room description

All guest rooms are well furnished with an en suite bathroom, hairdryer, minibar, direct dial telephone, satellite TV, Internet access and air conditioning. Most rooms have balconies and all Superior Sea View rooms have balcony or terrace. Single guests will receive a twin room for sole use.

Sport activities description

The large swimming pool is clean and inviting, with sun loungers and parasols while the more adventurous can enjoy a dip in the Jacuzzi, the invigorating sauna (charges apply) or a workout at the gym. There are also table tennis facilities as well as a diving school available (fees also apply).

How to get there

From Malta International Airport follow the signs to Gozo or Cirkewwa Bay. Board a Gozo Channel Ltd. ferry from Cirkewwa Bay to Mgarr Harbour. The trip is only 30 minutes long and day-time ferry trips are scheduled approximately one in every 45 minutes. The Grand Hotel is located just up the road from Mgarr Harbour.
