Built in 1400, this hotel is spread over 6 floors and has 102 rooms, of which 10 are single rooms, 87 are double rooms and 5 are suites. Guests may make use of the foyer with 24-hour reception desk, a safe, a currency exchange desk and a lift. A bar, an air-conditioned à la carte restaurant with highchairs for infants are included in the facilities available. Five conference rooms and a public Internet terminal are also available. Garage service at the clients' disposal. From June to September the roof top terrace and pool are open for swimming. This is the only roof top pool in the historical city center.
Room description
The tastefully decorated rooms come with an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, coffee facilities, a direct dial telephone, satellite/ cable TV, an Internet connection, a radio, a minibar/ fridge, carpeting, air conditioning and central heating as well as a safe. Rooms either overlook the square of the church of Santa Maria Novella or its cloisters. A wing of the hotel was originally a wing of the cloister.
Sport activities description
The roof has a splendid swimming pool, a snack bar as well as a sun terrace with sun loungers laid out ready for use. During the months of July and August every Thursday night: Minerva Giò the pool aperitive with live music.
Meal service description
The hotel offers a rich American Buffet Breakfast with a wide variety of cold and hot dishes and beverages. From April to September the restaurant moves to the square of Santa Maria Novella for fantastic lunch and dinners au dehors. A' la carte and degustation menues are available throughout the year.
