Occupying the site of a 19th century palace, this hotel retains its original atmosphere but with a fresh, eclectic spirit. There are fine restaurants by the quayside, a lobby bar and lounge, hotel shops and a hairdressing salon. In addition to a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, the air-conditioned establishment offers a 24-hour business centre with conference facilities, a babysitting service on request (local charge), a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, a cloakroom and lift access to the 170 guest rooms. Room description
The spacious rooms are decorated in a combination of contemporary and Ottoman Turkish design and offer a comfortable seating area with an Ottoman-style sofa, a writing desk, plasma TV and stereo system. Additional amenities include a fully stocked minibar, in-room movies, safe and wired and wireless Internet access. The lavish marble bathrooms have a bathtub and separate shower. Other standard room features include a hairdryer, double or king-size bed, direct dial telephone, radio, tea and coffee making facilities, an ironing set and individually regulated air conditioning and heating.
Sport activities description
By the quayside of the hotel there is an outdoor pool with spacious sun terraces, a children's swimming area, poolside snack bar and sun loungers and parasols laid out for use. The chic 2,000-square-metre spa centre has a heated indoor swimming pool, saunas, a Turkish Bath, hot tub, rooms for massages and spa treatments (fees apply for both), and steam rooms. Guests may also take part in an aerobics session, or explore the surrounding area by bike.

The charming city hotel enjoys a spectacular location on the European side of the Bosphorus with views across to the Asian side. The trendy Ortakoy Square is approximately 1.5 km to the north along the Bosphorus, while Taksim Square and the nightlife of Beyoglu are 3.5 km away. The must-see attractions at Sultanahmet are about 6 km from the family-friendly business hotel. Guests will find links to the public transport network in the immediate vicinity to take guests to the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sofia and Nisantasi in around 10 minutes, Dolmabahce Palace in roughly 5 minutes and the spice market in approximately 25 minutes. The restaurants, bars and shops in Ortakoy are approximately 1.5 km from the historical hotel. Istanbul-Ataturk airport is around 25 km from the design hotel and Istanbul-Sabiha Gokcen airport is roughly 40 km away.
