Built in 2010, this new resort is a peaceful oasis on the island of Crete which provides a soothing getaway from the stress of the world. Crete is a land with a great history since the era of the Minoan civilization known as the birthplace of Zeus. Cretan people have remained relatively unscathed, retaining their culture but above all their innate sense of traditional hospitality. This tranquil resort with its own traditional character is built on an approximately 7-hectare plot of land with many olive trees and aromatic plants and an endless horizon of Cretan blue, providing authentic luxury and quiet sophistication. Comprising a total of 65 rooms, the air-conditioned establishment offers a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service, currency exchange facilities, a cloakroom, lift access and a hairdressing salon. Entertainment is provided in the games room, TV lounge, kids' club and on the children's playground. Food and drinks are served in the café, bar and restaurant. Business guests are sure to appreciate the conference facilities. Guests can keep in touch with the WLAN Internet access and those arriving by car may leave their vehicle in the car park. Room and laundry services are available for additional fees. Guests may hire bicycles on site.
Room description
All rooms are en suite and equipped with a shower, bath, hairdryer, direct dial telephone and satellite/cable TV. Further standard amenities include Internet access, a safe, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, individually regulated air conditioning and a balcony or terrace.
Sport activities description
The hotel comprises of 2 outdoor swimming pools along with a paddling pool section for children. Deckchairs, parasols and towels by the pools are free of charge. In addition, guests can make use of the poolside snack bar, 2 outdoor children's pools and 1 indoor heated pool with a hot tub (for a fee). The steam room, sauna and spa and massage treatments offer the ultimate relaxation (fees apply to all). Guests may also play tennis (for a fee), basketball and table tennis. Water sports available for a fee include jet skiing, diving, sailing, catamaran boating and pedal boating. Pool/snooker and horse riding are further recreational options (for a fee). Entertainment programmes are arranged for children. Sun loungers and parasols may be hired on the sandy beach.
