Hotel description Faena Hotel + Universe
Conceived by Alan Faena and designed by Philippe Starck, the air-conditioned historical hotel is designed as a home. The design hotel is housed in the El Porteño Building, a historic building that was originally built in 1902 to store grain which was then exported across the world. The spa complex offers 90 luxury rooms and welcomes guests in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, cloakroom and lift access. The design hotel has a number of common areas for guests to make use of and further facilities include a café, bar, pub and a restaurant. Guests may also take advantage of the conference facilities, WLAN Internet access, room and laundry services, a car park and garage, and a bicycle hire service.
Room description
Each guest room offers excellent services and the best in technology for guests to enjoy during their stay. Each room features a home theatre and flat screen satellite TV with Dolby Surround sound system, wireless Internet access, designer beds with Egyptian cotton linens. Other standard features include an en suite bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, a direct dial telephone, radio, safe, minibar and individually regulated air conditioning and heating.
Sport activities description
There is a heated indoor swimming pool with a poolside snack bar and a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use. Guests may also work out in the on-site gym, relax in the sauna or steam room, or choose from a selection of spa and massage treatments.
Meal service description
A breakfast buffet is served each morning and à la carte options are available for lunch and dinner.
