Very good staff. Facilities -restaurants and pool very good.
Some of the decor and fittings looking a little "tired" The beach was too severely restricted for use. The lifeguards were too quick off the mark even when you wer paddling - very off putting when the sea is a little rough and you are a good swimmer. The locals trying to sell you stuff are annoying when you want a quiet stroll along the beach.
Most of what you want is on site.

Beautiful hotel, excellent food and drink choices. Plenty to do within resort and only went outside once.
Fantastic stay in Punta Cana. This hotel was top notch. Attention to details are not missed. While lounging on the beach, a gentleman proceeded to walk over to my chair and lay down a nice mat so that I would be more comfortable. I did not even know these were available. It's the little things that this hotel paid attention to that made all the difference. The staff was friendly and always helpful!
I did not want to leave. Completely enjoyable vacation.
Excursions are available that include snorkeling, riding ATV's, horse back riding, etc. However, I preferred to stay and lounge by the beach and pool.
