Since its opening in June 1991, the air-conditioned conference hotel is constantly evaluating and improving its guest services and facilities in order to keep up with the needs of the modern traveller. The latest development has been the refurbishing of the 526 guestrooms and suites, all of which now offer a contemporary yet warm feel. This includes the Equator Club reception and lounge area located on the 26th and 27th floor of the hotel tower. Guests are welcomed into a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, currency exchange facilities, a cloakroom and lift access, and further facilities include a TV lounge, kids' club (fees apply), café, bar, pub, disco and restaurant. Guests may also make use of the conference facilities, WLAN Internet access, room and laundry services and a car park.
Room description
High-speed broadband Internet access is now available in all rooms, as are an electronic bedside control panel, international direct dial telephone with bathroom extension, air conditioning with individual temperature control, a minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, an in-room safe, hairdryer and electronic key card lock security. Each room additionally features an en suite bathroom with shower, bathtub and hairdryer, a double or king-size bed, satellite TV, radio and hi-fi, ironing set, central heating and a kitchen with fridge and microwave.
Sport activities description
The health club is located on the 4th floor of the hotel and offers a state-of-the-art approach to personal health and fitness. Facilities and services include a fully equipped gym (fees apply) with the latest exercise and weight-training equipment and an indoor swimming pool. Guests may relax by the poolside snack bar using the sun loungers and parasols provided, take part in an aqua fit or aerobics session, relax in the sauna or steam room, or choose from a selection or spa and massage treatments. Guests may go biking or enjoy a game of squash or tennis (fees apply to both). The hotel organises entertainment programmes for both adults and children (fees apply).
Meal service description
The hotel's signature restaurant specialises in contemporary Cantonese cuisine. Private dining rooms provide an intimate setting for that important dining experience. A Continental breakfast buffet is served each morning, and lunch and dinner are served as buffets, set menus or à la carte. The hotel offers all-inclusive packages.
